Does Polygraph check whether answers are true?

No. Polygraph is a social app for conversations in chats and Publics, where questions help you get to know one another. The app does not verify whether answers are true.

What is a Pol?

A Pol is a little piece of Polygraph: a question and an answer brought together in one story. These stories let you discover others and share who you are — in a private conversation or your own Public.

What is a Public on Polygraph?

A Public is a creator’s space where you can read their posts and ask them questions. An answer can become a post addressed to you. In your own Public, you can answer your readers and give them a chance to get to know you better.

How do I start a conversation when I don’t know what to write?

Choose a suggested question you really want to know the answer to. It will help you take the first step, and the answer may suggest what to talk about next. Share your own thoughts too — that is how you gradually get to know one another.

Do I have to answer every question?

No. You choose what to answer and what to share. You can skip a question, take a break, or end a conversation. Respecting each other’s choices is part of Polygraph’s culture.
